Resources at the Library

Transportation books (and other media, too) can usually be found around the call number 388, in the History Room and other sections of the library.  Below are some of the books we own, and don't forget our fabulous newspaper clipping collection in the History Room.

  • City of Berkleley Records
    In 1954 the City of Berkeley gave many of its historic records to the Bancroft Library at U.C. Berkeley. Included are records of the street railroads from 1880-1936, the Key System from 1905-1926, the wharf and harbor from 1907-1918 & 1926, street improvements from the 1880s to 1936, and more.
