The Berkeley Public Library has a wonderful group of enthusiastic volunteers who work with the public as Technology Helpers, Computer Class Helpers, Knitting instructors and other positions. We ask volunteers to work at least two hours a week and make a minimum three month commitment. The Library provides training appropriate to the task. Applicants may apply through:

- download the volunteer application form or pick up an application form at the Check Out Desk at any library location. Return the completed form to the Check Out Desk or scan and email to libraryvolunteerserv@ci.berkeley.ca.us.
