De-stress and Renew through Gentle Yoga @Claremont Branch


Berkeley, CA. November 7, 2016—The Holidays can be stressful. Join us at the Berkeley Public Library’s Claremont Branch on Tuesday, December 6 at 7:00pm, when Angela Madonia leads us in yoga postures that support releasing tension while stretching, balancing and strengthening the body in a gentle and supportive way. Movement, breath exercises and mindfulness meditation techniques will be presented simply and accessibly. Leave with some tools for those moments when you want to calm your system and to reconnect. Angela Madonia has taught yoga and mindfulness since 2007.  She has brought the tools of yoga and meditation to people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, eating disorders, trauma, domestic violence, chronic pain, and stress.

The Claremont Branch is located at 2940 Benvenue Ave, Berkeley CA 94705, and is open: Monday, 10:00 am-6:00 pm; Tuesday and Wednesday, 10:00 am-8:00 pm; Thursday 12 noon -8:00 pm; and Friday and Saturday, 10:00 am-6:00 pm.
