Join us for a Summer Reading Kickoff!
Saturday, June 4th, 2-4pm
We're taking over Kittredge in front of the Central Library, on the block between Shattuck and Harold.
Sign up for summer reading, get your signup book, get some ice cream courtesy of Straus Family Creamery, and enjoy various performances and activities! See below for times of performances.
- Adults who sign up at the kickoff can also enter a drawing for 2 tickets to a San Francisco Opera Summer Performance (this prize drawing will occur on Monday, June 6 to allow for attendance at one of these special summer performances, so you have to sign up before then to be eligible.)
- Make an accordion book with the Museum of Children's Art
- Make some buttons with our buttonmaker
- Ice cream available while supplies last. Yum!
(Unfortunately Pollinator Posse will no longer be able to join us that day, but stay tuned for an event with them later on.)
