Not-So-Scary Storytime @North
Special Halloween Storytime
Join us on the North Branch Library lawn for not-too-scary stories, songs, rhymes, and fun! Costumes are highly encouraged. This 30-minute storytime is for children of all ages and their families. After storytime, stay for a Halloween parade around the library.
Weather permitting, bring a blanket or mat to sit on. For more information, please call North Branch at 510-981-6250.

Halloween Cat Storytime @North
In partnership with Berkeley Animal Care Services, please join us on Saturday, October 19 from 2pm to 3pm for a special cat themed Halloween storytime. Enjoy favorite Halloween stories read by BACS volunteers, sing not-so-scary songs, and maybe pet a cat or two (if available).
Costumes HIGHLY encouraged, especially witch and wizard outfits.
This program will be held in North Branch's downstairs Community Meeting Room. Space limited.
Sensory Storytime @North (Registration Required)
Join us in the North Branch meeting room for an interactive and fun storytime designed for young children with sensory needs or difficulty being in large groups. Enjoy interactive stories, music, movement, and play in a small-group setting. For ages 2-4.
Limited to 12 children and their caregivers. Registration is required. Please call 510-981-6250 or visit North Branch to register.

Musical Story Time @Frances Albrier Community Center
Please join us at the Frances Albrier Community Center for a special Musical Story Time series with the Berkeley Public Library's Story Time Band. These FREE events will occur on third Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. beginning Thursday, September 19th. Each session will feature live music, movement activities, and read-aloud stories for children ages 2-7. See you there!
An additional session of this popular program has been added and will take place on Thursday, October 24th.
