Rainbow Kaleidoscopes @Central CCR

Rainbow Kaleidoscopes are an upcycled art workshop featuring STEAM principles (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) that also embodies multicultural themes related to Hawaii's stories and environment. This workshop is appropriate for ages 5-10, though younger kids will need the assistance of an adult to help with the more technical aspects of the project.

Maker Lab: Open Lab @Claremont

In this special Maker Lab: Open Lab, we will celebrate Earth Day with local artist, Nga Trinh, who will show us how to do paper weaving using recycled materials.

No previous experience necessary! This program is for kids with parents, teens, and adults.

Nga Trinh came to the US in 1975 as a refugee from Sai Gon, Viet Nam. A graduate of UC Berkeley, with a BA in Fine Arts, she uses mostly recycled materials for her artwork. Learn more at
