This month, we will upcycle glass jars and bottles and transform them into beautiful vases by decoupaging. 

Decoupage is a crafting technique where layers of patterned papers are glued onto objects like glass vases, frames, boxes, etc. It's a creative way to repurpose old items and add a personalized touch.

Join us for some fun paper crafts using comic book pages and paper that are great for all ages at Claremont Branch Library.

Make repujados (embossed aluminium art) with Rachel Palacios from Devika's Palacio! Ages 8 and up, younger with parental assistance.

Celebrate summer with a Teen tie dye party on the lawn at North Branch! Our friends from Berkeley Parks & Rec will be here to lead the tie dying. We will provide white t-shirts (while supplies last), snacks, and instructions. You bring creativity and clothes that can get dirty. You are welcome to bring your own item to tie dye if you wish! Middle and high schoolers welcome.

This month, we will be playing with watercolor! Learn essential watercolor techniques and make this medium your own.  All supplies will be provided and you are also welcome to bring your own watercolor supplies. 

All skill levels are welcome!

This program is for Teens and Adults. 

Join us on Tuesdays in April between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. at the Claremont Branch for a series of spring-themed paper crafting sessions!  All supplies and instructions will be provided. This program is most suitable for children in preschool and kindergarten.

Join us for an intermediate sewing workshop led by local sewing expert Kathe Boyd! We will work on an intermediate-level project and learn some new skills. Stay tuned for more details about the project. We ask that you have basic sewing machine skills to participate in this workshop. Teens and adults only, please. All materials will be provided.
