April 16, 2021 - 3:30pm-4:15pm (ended)

Kids and families, join us to hear from women from Bitwise Workforce Training (formerly Geekwise Academy). Hear from Stephanie Moreno, Student Success Specialist and Jasmine Bonilla and Jenn Guerra, who worki in Bitwise's apprenticeship program about their adventures in the world of tech and how they came to be interested in this field. We'll also get to do a "hands-on" activity showing basic functions of coding. This program is for kids ages 8-12, but all are welcome.

We recorded this program until the activity, which was not recorded so as to preserve the privacy of attendees. You can watch the rest of the video (before the recording) here: https://youtu.be/w_m5YFSItU4

Here are links to activities and projects from the recording:

Here's a Peanut Butter and Jelly Activity to try at home that helps us to see how important it is that coding instructions are exact.
