Beginning Mandarin Workshop for Kids @North

In partnership with the Culture Center of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in San Francisco (Milpitas) and the Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning, the Berkeley Public Library will be offering a six week beginning Mandarin workshop for children.

Instructors Laurie Lo [羅惠芬] and Hui Lan Lo [羅惠蘭] will lead this fun and dynamic class where children learn to speak Mandarin naturally from reading picture books, singing, and interactive games. They will learn basic greetings, common daily phrases, colors, animals, and Taiwanese food in Mandarin. Children and families can learn about Taiwanese culture and art. For ages 3–8 with one caregiver.
