Baby & Toddler Time @Central CSR

Come celebrate El día de los niños/El día de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day) at Berkeley Public Library! 
Día, as it is commonly known, is a celebration every day of children, families, and reading that culminates yearly on (or around!) April 30. The celebration emphasizes the importance of literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

Baby & Toddler Time @Central CSR

It's never too soon to share the fun of language through stories, rhymes, and music! Join us for songs, fingerplays, tickles, bounces, and short books for our youngest friends with a parent or caregiver. For children ages 6 to 36 months old. Central Children's Room, 4th Floor.

There will be no storytime on May 31 and June 7. The new session begins on June 14 and will continue through August 16.

Where the Wild Things Are @North

Read along on screen with Maurice Sendak's classic children's stories, brought vividly to life on DVD. Featuring Where the Wild Things Are with music and narration by Peter Schnickele. When Max is sent to bed without supper, he sails off to a world inhabited by weird creatures. He becomes the king of all wild things- until he misses his real home. These Maurice Sendak books have won over five awards including: The Caldecott Medal, Caldecott Honor Book and ALA Notable Book.
