To begin, go to hoopladigital.com and:

  1. Follow the sign-up process using your library card.
  2. Install the free mobile app on your iOS or Android device to use hoopla on the go.

That’s it—no holds, no waiting. You can borrow up to 10 items per month. Borrowing periods are 21 days for audiobooks, eBooks, and comics; 7 days for music; and 3 days for videos.

Kanopy

Stream independent, international, classic, and documentary films.

  1. Go to Kanopy and create an account by selecting “Sign Up.”
  2. Check your email to verify your address.
  3. Add your library card number.
  4. Start watching videos. You have 30 tickets available per calendar month. (What are tickets?)

Music Online from Alexander Street Press

More than 1 million tracks from all genres of music available to stream.

Music Online is divided into 5 collections for easier browsing: American Song, Classical Music Library, Contemporary World Music, Jazz Music Library, and Smithsonian Global Sound for Libraries.

Naxos Music Library

Streaming access to 3 million tracks of classical music. More than 600 new CDs are added to the library every month.

Naxos Jazz Music Library and Naxos World Music Library are also available.

OverDrive/Libby

Overdrive/Libby provides a large and growing collection of ebooks and digital audiobooks in English, Spanish, Chinese, French and Japanese.

Download the free Libby app, or visit the website libbyapp.com.

BPL card holders can check out up to ten Overdrive items.
