Playreaders @Central CMR

3rd floor Community Meeting Room

Playreaders does what the name says- we read great plays aloud, changing parts frequently so everyone gets a chance to read.  No auditions or registration necessary- just show up and join in the fun.  Scripts are provided.  Plays are selected annually by the Playreaders themselves and range from contemporary to classic.  Questions?  Call Debbie Carton at 510-981-6236.

Living Room Choir concert @Central A&M

The Living Room Choir returns to the Berkeley Public Library for an Ubuntu Song Sharing, featuring music to celebrate the upcoming Solstice. UBUNTU means "I am because we are."

The Living Room Choir is an all-ages, all-abilities, non-audition choir, and is the international Ubuntu Choir Network's first Bay Area chapter. They believe the joy of singing is a universal birthright, and that together, regardless of musical background, we can improve the world by joining voices in song.

SF Shakespeare: Comedy of Errors @Central CMR
