In the first part of this workshop kids and teens will be introduced to the visual language of comics. Then we'll discuss characters and participants will draw their own characters. After that they will be introduced to both wordless storytelling methods and comics that utilize both words and text to create stories with conflict and a beginning, middle, and end .
