We will meet at the fountain in front of the law school building, previously known as Bolt Hall (just across the street from La Strada Cafe at the corner of College Ave and Bancroft Way). We will do some icebreakers and art games before sketching the surrounding buildings, trees and people. In the event of rain we will move into a nearby cafe or underneath the portico of the anthropology museum.
Bring your favorite journal, art materials or just pencil and paper and join the Urban Sketching group. We sketch the world around us to observe and connect with our surroundings. Through this practice our drawing skills and confidence ultimately improve over time. Urban sketching is worldwide movement with groups all over the world! This group is for all levels of skill and experience.
