Storytime for Adults debuts with William Faulkner's "A  Rose for Emily".  Join us for readers theater, as multiple readers present the darkly humorous story of a Southern spinster whose secrets emerge posthumously, though the voices of her hometown neighbors. With two kinds of puppets, sets, and sound effects, it's Faulkner as you've never experienced him before. After the reading, stay for a discussion of the story, genre and author. Intended for teens and older.

Baby Bounce & Toddler Tales@West

Baby Bounce & Toddler Tales includes stories, songs, lap-bounces and tickles for babies and toddlers 6 mos-35 mos and their parents. The program is held the first three Saturdays of every month at 10:15 a.m. This is an interactive program for parent and child, so come ready to share in the fun with your child. Older children are welcome to attend with a younger sibling. Following Story Time, children and parents are invited to stay and play in the West Community Meeting Room until 11:45. A wide variety of age appropriate toys are available.
