Join us for (The Not-So-Scary) HALLOWEEN STORY TIME at the West Branch of the Berkeley Public Library on Saturday, October 31st at 10:15 a.m. This Halloween Story Time is recommended for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and primary graders. Storytime for Adults debuts with William Faulkner's "A Rose for Emily". Join us for readers theater, as multiple readers present the darkly humorous story of a Southern spinster whose secrets emerge posthumously, though the voices of her hometown neighbors. With two kinds of puppets, sets, and sound effects, it's Faulkner as you've never experienced him before. After the reading, stay for a discussion of the story, genre and author. Intended for teens and older.
