Los Gu'achis Music @North

Los Gu'achis plays music of Mexico, Early California and the Southwest. Kids will have the opportunity to move and dance to such tunes as "The Mexican Hat Dance," "The Chicken Dance," "the Swedish Jumping Song", as well as songs specifically for children. The program begins with a brief introduction to the music, it's origins and importance and an explanation of the different instruments used. All ages.

The Story and Songs of Pete Seeger @Claremont

Tim Holt portrays Pete Seeger, telling his life story and singing songs in this lively, live-music-filled show. Best for adults, teens and children ages eight and up. Tim encourages audience participation so you’ll have a chance to accompany him when he performs  "If I Had A Hammer," "We Shall Overcome," "Union Maid," and "This Land".  Free. Members of the Marin Poetry Center read their works in a summer Traveling Show! Come hear original works from half a dozen poets in a collegial and supportive environment. Sponsored by the Marin Poetry Center, an organization dedicated to the appreciation of poetry.
