Library on Wheels @BAM/PFA - Pee Wee's Big Adventure
The Library on Wheels will visit the BAM/PFA for a special outdoor screening of Pee Wee's Big Adventure. The movie will be shown on the Crescent Lawn, on Oxford Street between Center and Addison Streets. We'll be there beginning at 6:30 pm until the movie starts at 8 pm to make library cards and check out books, movies and more. Stop by and say Hi! Bike East Bay will also be on hand to help with Bike Parking.

Local actors bring Banned Books Week to a close. Join Michael Mansfield, Emma Nicholls, Louel Senores and Lisa Klein from UC Berkeley Interactive Theater Project as they perform selections from favorite banned or challenged books. They will share books for all ages in solo and group readings. Celebrate your right to read freely!
Halloween & Dia de los Muertos Crafts @South
Kids and Teens! Come make a Halloween or Day Of The Dead craft at the library with perler beads. You can choose from simple shapes like pumpkins or ghosts, or create something more elaborate like a sugar skull. All school-aged kids and teens are welcome for snacks, music and fun!
