Crafts

Teen Crafternoon @North

Teens, come craft with us after school! We will have easy and fun crafts for you to do in the teen room or take home with you. Happening the first and third Tuesday of every month from 3-4pm.

October's schedule:

10/4: Pronoun buttons. Celebrate LGBTQ+ history month by making colorful buttons with your preferred pronouns. Yes, you get to use the button maker!

10/18: Black cat bookmarks. It's almost Halloween, but these black cat bookmarks are more cute than spooky!

Planting Wellness With PlanterDay

Teens - are you a plant person (or dream of becoming one)? Are you curious about mental health resources? If the answer to either of these questions is YES, join us for an afternoon with PlanterDay! We will be decorating pots and repotting plants. Everyone gets to take home their own plant!

We will also have a volunteer from Crisis Support Services of Alameda County to talk about teen resources for mental health and wellness. September is National Suicide Prevention Month, and this will be a safe space to learn about resources and connect with community.
