Join us in celebrating Queer Black art! Come make collage art while listening to music and watching films that highlight Black LGBTQ+ artists.
Queer Black artists have contributed to culture, activism and visibility in many different expressions of art.
To celebrate this contribution, we will be listening to musicians such as CHIKA, Sylvester and
We will be listening to artists such as CHIKA, Sylvester and Frank Ocean with one of the library's music resources, Hoopla.
We will also be showing documentary films that put a lens on Queer Black art using Kanopy.
This event will be held in the Tarea Hall Pittman South Branch Community Room.
All materials will be provided.
