Poet B.H. Fairchild Reading @North Branch

A rare Bay Area chance to hear the work of this National Book Award-nominated poet!

B.H. Fairchild grew up in small towns in Texas and Kansas. His poetry explores the empty landscapes of the region of his birth, the lives of its working-class residents, and the search for meaning in daily life. Paul Mariani says Fairchild’s poems “insist on the beauty to be found in what seems to be a desolate landscape.”
