    This Department of Industrial Relations Web site provides information on apprenticeship programs by county and occupation.
  • Job Corps
    A free education and training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor for young people who are at least 16. There are also programs for veterans transitioning from military to civilian work.
  • The Bread Project
    The Bread project offers skill instruction and on the job training to low income job seekers wishing to start a career in the food industry. The 9 week Food Service training in Berkeley focuses on basic culinary, barista, and customer service skills needed for employment in cafes, restaurants, and other retail businesses.
