Libraries have always been places for sharing. We share stories, space, knowledge, time, tools, and care. From September 2026 to September 2027, Berkeley Public Library invites you to take part in a yearlong celebration of sharing in all its forms.
What you will find?
You will see the Sharing theme across all our branches:
- Programs and events that invite skill sharing, cultural exchange, creative collaboration, and community connection. Search keyword “sharing” in the event calendar to find them.
- Displays and staff picks that highlight books about generosity, mutual support, learning, and collective care.
- Sharing themed bookmarks and stickers are available at service desks while supplies last.
What is in it for you?
Everyone is an expert in something. The library is a place where what you know matters.
