West Branch is now offering weekly 1:1 Tech Help for the community!
Tuesdays, 2-2:30 and 2:30-3pm
Just call West Branch at 510-981-6270 to set up a 30 minute appointment.

eLibrary Help Hour @North
At eLibrary Help Hour at North Branch, you'll learn about our eLibrary resources, including streaming movies, eBooks, eAudiobooks, online magazines and newspapers. Bring your device and we'll help you become an expert. We can also help with searching the Library's databases for medical, consumer and business information as well as improving your internet search skills.
Basic Internet @North
Join us in the North Branch Community Meeting Room for instruction, guided learning, and group Q&A. This workshop is geared toward new internet users and folks who are not yet comfortable and confident internet users.
Here we will cover: types of internet connections, browsers and functionality, apps, files, and safety measures. You may bring your own device(s) or use ours; we ask that your personal items arrive charged up and ready to go.

Book a 30-minute individual appointment with library staff who can help you with your tech questions. This individual appointment will be in-doors and in-person. Drop in Tech Help @Central EC
Come to the third-floor central library public Electornic Classroom and use our computers or bring your own device (no appointment needed). Library staff will be available to answer computer questions, and provide personal computer guidance. Beginner computer users are welcome. Staff will be on hand to help with the following:

We'll be covering the parts of a computing device (including desktops, laptops, tablets, and smart phones), typical button and screen functionality, and effectively troubleshooting hardware issues. You're welcome to bring your mobile device(s) with you as well as use our varied devices.
