A Berkeley Tattooer Art Show at Berkeley Public Library
August 2026, Central Library, 2nd and 5th floors
This mixed media art show features the work of tattoo artists working at 13 different tattoo shops in Berkeley, CA.
The purpose of this art show is to showcase the diverse artistic talents of our local tattoo community, strengthen the collaborations between artists and the library, and invite the Berkeley community to learn more about tattoos, tattooing, and local tattooers.
We encourage you to reach out to artists and shops directly if you would like to learn more about their work. Shop website are linked on this website.
In addition to the month long display, please follow the link below to the tattoo programs we will be hosting this August. Programs include:
- Reception: Monday, August 3, 5 pm - 7 pm
- Women in Tattooing: Art Talk with Karen Roze: Monday, August 10, 6 pm - 7 pm
- Tattooer Talks with Leslie Mah and Xochitlpili 'Prince' Faulkner: Saturday, August 15, 2 pm - 4 pm
- Tattoo Storytime with Old Crow Tattoo: Saturday, August 22, 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
