This month, we will upcycle glass jars and bottles and transform them into beautiful vases by decoupaging. 

Decoupage is a crafting technique where layers of patterned papers are glued onto objects like glass vases, frames, boxes, etc. It's a creative way to repurpose old items and add a personalized touch.

This month's theme is GARDENING - exploring and sharing all of the things we are excited about this season and swapping tricks and reasources!

This month, we will be upcycling Tshirts and sewing them into bags!

From beginner to expert sewers, all teens and adults are invited. While will provide all the materials needed, you are also invited to bring your own Tshirts if you'd like.

We have limited sewing machines so space is limited. Please RSVP by calling 510-981-6270. 

Are you interested in learning how to use a sewing machine?  Do you have some items you would like to repair/patch/hem? We will have sewing machines and hand sewing supplies available for use during the program. If you need a specific thread for your project, please bring it with you.

This month we will be making beautiful paper beads out of recycled paper and glue along with basic jewelry making if you so choose. You're invited to bring your own leftover craft paper, magazines and even junk mail! We will also provide all the materials you need.  It will be an easy-to-follow, fun, relaxing process. 

Hey teens, you're invited to a weekly Craft Club in the year of 2024! Fridays from 3 pm to 6 pm. 

Craft Club = getting together to support each other, while fulfilling the need to create. 

The Craft Club Cart will have free materials to: collage, color & draw, crochet, fold origami, needlepoint & embroider, plus some occasional fun surprises!

Transition Berkeley will begin hosting a monthly Skill & Idea Share event on every second Tuesday of the month from 6pm to 7:30pm.
