A hands-on sewing activity for kids using embroidery thread and needles.
Kids will use basic sewing stitches including the running stitch and blanket stitch to attach smaller felt shapes to a skull or bird base shape as well as a few embroidery design stitches.
The pieces will have a front and back side that will be sewn together and stuffed. Kids will go home with a completed Sugar Skull or Bird.
