Summer Reading Game
Join us for our annual summer reading game, Paws to Read! Kids age 0-13 visit the library 3 times and read through the summer. Find out more on our summer reading page.
Story time brings language to life and open up the world of other people and places. We offer engaging programs for children, parents and caregivers of all ages. Join us for good stories, rhymes, music and fun! Our calendar is filled with options; read the descriptions to find the one for you!
A special invitation for group leaders: Request a story time just for your group. For more information about group attendance at regularly scheduled story times, please contact your local library.
Book Discussion Groups
Middle School Book Group
Be a part of our Middle School Book Group! We read exciting books you choose, have interesting discussions, meet dynamic authors and munch on delicious snacks. Kids in 6th, 7th and 8th grades can join any or all sessions. Just read the book and jump in! For further information, call Emma at 510-981-6223 or email us.

4th & 5th Grade Book Club

Dogs are a great audience! Sign up to read to a trained therapy dog. Choose a book at the library or bring one from home.
