Join us in the third floor community meeting room for an Urban Africana dance class led by Andréa Spearman.
Urban Africana dance uses movements from African styles, hip hop, modern/contemporary, and improv.
It bridges the gap between these genres and shows their parallel origins. You'll learn style while working up a sweat!
Please wear sneakers and clothes that allow you to move freely.
Instructor Andréa Spearman is the founder & choreographer of A. Spearman &Co. as well as an instructor at the illustrious dance studio, The Beat, here in Berkeley.
All skill levels are welcome at this free workshop series, and no experience is necessary.
Space is limited, so sign up to reserve your spot at the 5th floor Art & Music Desk. Sign up in person, by calling 510-981-6241, or by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
