Join us on for an afternoon concert by local Bay Area artist Diana Gameros.
Diana Gameros is a local singer and songwriter who originally hails from Cuidad Juarez, Mexico, studied piano and recording technology in Michigan, and came to the Bay Area that she now calls home. A talented and versatile performer, she sings in both English and Spanish and has performed at venues such as Freight and Salvage, the Fox Theater, and the Yerba Buena Center. Her songs, which speak of love, longing, and hope, are infused with sounds from diverse styles of music including those of folk traditions from Mexico and the US. “Gameros’ music has been likened in its subtlety, beauty, and nuance to Johanna Newsom, Caetano Veloso, and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
