Did you ever wonder what it would be like to design a bridge, a road, or a building? Or do you wonder just what engineers do? On May 15, we got to hear from Karen Wang, P.E. from the American Society of Civil Engineers. She told us about how how she came to be a civil engineer and what engineers do. We also got to do a hands-on activity making towers with marshmallows and spaghetti to build with (or pencils and play dough, or spaghetti and gummy bears)! You can try this activity at home too!
