Come share your story about how a particular book on social justice, social change, inspired lives, and courageous acts of conscience have influenced you.
This will be an all day oral history and conversation series to capture thoughts of community members about one book that rocked their world(view). We will also take a photograph of participants and their books for our CaliforniaListens.org website and the Berkeley Public Library.
The project is part of California Listens, as statewide project supported by the California State Library and is hosted in collaboration with StoryCenter, a Berkeley-based non-profit. Each interview/story sharing will be 15 minutes, but we ask you to sign up for 30 minutes for the preparation and your photograph.
