Urban Sketching @Sather Gate

Bring your favorite journal, art materials or just pencil and paper and join the Urban Sketching group.  We sketch the world around us to observe and connect with our surroundings.  Through this practice our drawing skills and confidence ultimately improve over time.  Urban sketching is worldwide movement with groups all over the world!  This group is for all levels of skill and experience.

We will meet in front of the iconic Sather gate on the U.C. Berkeley Campus.  We will sketch outside but if the weather is wet we have the option of going inside a cafe or the student union or sketching from under the portico of one of the nearby buildings.
