National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a creative writing project launched by the nonprofit of the same name to encourage writers of all ages to complete a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 pm November 30. This year, Berkeley Public Library and NaNoWriMo encourage potential novelists to come to one or more writing-related events offered at all of our locations.

Sign up for NaNoWriMo here!

Come Write In is a time and place to connect with other writers. Bring your laptop or tablet, favorite pencil, notebook and your library card (if you want to reserve a laptop from us to use for an hour or two) and write away.

Saturday, Nov. 22 - the Electronic Classroom on the 3rd floor of the Central Library is the spot for our Teen Come Write In.

People of all ages are welcome to attend these other NaNoWriMo events.
