Library on Wheels @Downtown Berkeley Farmers' Market

The Library on Wheels will be stopping by the Downtown Berkeley Farmers' Market!  We are excited about making you a Library Card, checking out books, movies, and more, as well as answering your questions.  We'll have wifi, so you can download eBooks, music and movies from our web site.  Stop by and say Hi!

The Downtown Farmers' Market is on Center Street, between Milvia and Martin Luther King Jr. Way.  For more information, visit the Ecology Center.

Library on Wheels @BAM/PFA - Pee Wee's Big Adventure

The Library on Wheels will visit the BAM/PFA for a special outdoor screening of Pee Wee's Big Adventure.  The movie will be shown on the Crescent Lawn, on Oxford Street between Center and Addison Streets.  We'll be there beginning at 6:30 pm until the movie starts at 8 pm to make library cards and check out books, movies and more.  Stop by and say Hi!  Bike East Bay will also be on hand to help with Bike Parking.

Super Cinema@ Central: Special Showing

Berkeley in the Sixties (1990)

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Free Speech Movement Super Cinema is hosting a special Saturday movie: Berkeley in the Sixties (1990)

The 1960's alumni of the Berkeley campus tell their stories about how the quiet school became the site of massive political activism on the part of students fighting for their right of political expression on campus and then against the Vietnam War.
