"A Force Of Nature" David Suzuki Documentary Viewing and Book Discussion

We are wrapping up our celebration of Asia-Pacific Heritage month with a film and discussion of the works by the wise and courageous scientist/environmentalist David Suzuki. The program includes a showing of the documentary about his life called "A Force of Nature" followed by a dialogue of his ideas (writings, lectures, speeches) in the context of our contemporary cultural and environmental landscape. It will be engaging!

Milk Screening @South

Pride doesn't end in June...continue to celebrate by joining us for a free screening of the Academy Award winning film Milk starring Sean Penn as Harvey Milk. Penn won an Oscar, a Golden Globe, and countless other awards for his compelling portrayal of Milk's life, his triumph as a gay activisit and election as the first openly gay elected official.
