Collage of books with Between the World & Me, Feminine Mystique, Handmaid's Tale, People's History of the United States & more
September 21, 2019 - 10:00am-4:00pm

What book rocked your world(view)?

Join StoryCenter and the library in a 30 minute interview and photography session to share your story about a given book on social justice, social change, inspired lives, activism and courageous acts of conscious. Tell how your chosen book changed the way you think, believe, and take action.

Through this all-day oral history and conversation series we will capture interviews and photographs of people and their books for our CaliforniaListens.org website. This project is part of California Listens, a statewide project supported by the California State Library.

Each interview/story sharing will be 15 minutes, but participants are asked to sign up for a 30 minute slot to allow time for preparation and photography. Sign up for your 30 minute slot at: storycenter.org/berkeley-book-stories
