January 9, 2017 - 12:00pm to March 5, 2017 - 4:00pm (ended)
Stop by the Central Library's 5th floor Art & Music department to see an exhibit featuring Selections from Round Table Collaboration's Postal-Collage Projects.
The Round Table Collaboration Postal-Collage Project is an annual, all-inclusive, global collaboration based in Berkeley, and organized by Marty McCutcheon. The project is now in its 6th year. Stop by and see collages created by independent collaborators using local, regional, and global postal services to exchange works-in-progress.
In addition to viewing the exhibit, you are invited to participate in collaborative art-making at the library. Ask at the 5th floor Art & Music desk to check out a collage-in-progress. You can take the collage home to work on. After you turn it back in, someone else can check it out to make more changes. Each collage will be edited by five people before it’s declared complete. People of all skill levels, ages 12 and up, are invited to participate.
This exhibit is on display, and the take-home project is available during regular library hours.
There are also two workshops relating to this exhibit:
January 28: Round Table Collaborative Collage Workshop
