"Doug Harris is a media producer and filmmaker who has produced documentaries and educational media that chronicles and preserves untold history through biographical stories, historical events, communities, politics, and arts & culture. He has uncovered stories of pioneering African Americans through extensive research and his warm and unique style of storytelling. Harris is an Emmy nominated producer/director who has won numerous awards. His workshop will provide basic but essential research methods for family story documentation from a professional who has over thirty years of experience."
