Join us at THP South Branch for Poetry Month as we celebrate Poetry in Film!

Thursdays at 5:30pm, THP South will feature a film in the Community Room related to poetry:

April 4 - Much Ado About Nothing : The story involves two sets of lovers - one destined to be torn apart by others, while the other set are kept apart by the treachery of their own hearts. The plot is driven by cruel jokes, deception and misunderstandings. Featuring an all-star cast, including Denzel Washington, Keanu Reeves, Kate Beckinsale, Michael Keaton and Emma Thompson.

April 18 - Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who! : Horton the elephant hears a cry for help coming from a speck of dust - home of Who-ville. Horton promises to take them to safety, but encounters opposition from his jungle neighbors.

April 25 - Poetic Justice : A beautician, whose boyfriend was killed, escapes her pain by writing poetry. As she travels to a beauty convention, she hitches a ride with a incorrigible postman. Poetry featured written by Maya Angelou, starring Janet Jackson, Tupac Shakur and Regina King.
