Teens and adults will experience a virtual rock-hunting adventure with long-time rockhound, Alan Candee, to learn about the rock-collecting hobby and make a gemstone wire-wrap jewelry necklace. Alan will provide an introduction into geology where participants can handle a meteorite, “coprulite” (fossilized dinosaur poop) and an assortment of unique and interesting minerals. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

This event is recommended for ages 12 and up.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you do not need to bring your printed ticket to the event. We will have a list of registrations at the door to North Branch Community Meeting Room. Please arrive by 5:45pm to secure your seat. Seats that are not filled by 5:45pm may be released to the standby line.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes, it is ok if the name on your ticket doesn't match the teen or adult who attends.
