Jenny Odell, author of How To Do Nothing: Resisting The Attention Economy, will be at Central Library on Saturday January 18, at 2 PM. This author event is in celebration of New Year, New You. This event will bring readers together for community conversation, exchange of ideas, and new perspective building for the beginning of the New Year.
This event will feature book sales provided by Pegasus Books.
Odell is a multi-disciplinary artist and writer based in Oakland, California. She’s taught “internet art and digital/physical design at Stanford since 2013”. Odell has been published in many periodicals such as New York Times, The Believer, The Paris Review, and McSweeney's.
