Hispanic Heritage Month
Children and their families are invited to sing, dance and play when Cascada de Flores, returns to Claremont to share a bounteous assortment of traditional songs and dances from Mexico.
Baila Baila concerts are amazing energy filled interactive shows featuring Rock and Roll, Reggae, and Latin music. Come dance and have fun at this family musical event! Ages 0-6
Los Gu'achis plays music of Mexico, Early California and the Southwest. Kids will have the opportunity to move and dance to such tunes as "The Mexican Hat Dance," "The Chicken Dance," "the Swedish Jumping Song", as well as songs specifically for children. The program begins with a brief introduction to the music, it's origins and importance and an explanation of the different instruments used. All ages.
Corey Raynor leads a free dance workshop at the Claremont Branch to mark Hispanic Heritage month. Come learn how to Salsa and Bachata. No previous dance experience and no partner are required.
