April 12, 2019 - 1:30pm-3:30pm (ended)

Downtown Streets Team, the newest member of the Berkeley Public Library COIL program will be at the Central Library for two hours to meet with anyone interested in learning more about their program which offers employment opportunities through community beautification projects. DST assists with many aspects of homelessness by providing case management, basic needs gift cards, and weekly support lunches. All welcome.

Community Outreach in the Library (COIL) is a project of the Berkeley Public Library Homeless Task Force. COIL brings community service providers into the library to provide information, referrals and resources to people experiencing homelessness. Some of these organizations may also provide services to people who are housed. The services are provided at the Central Library, 2090 Kittredge St., on the 2nd floor. For more information, please call 510-981-6150.
