Please join us for a special event at Northbrae Community Church (941 the Alameda, Berkeley, CA 94707) as Civil Rights Movement champion Congressman John Lewis (D GA-5) shares insights from the second installment of his three-part graphic autobiography, March. March chronicles Lewis' lifelong struggle -- from an Alabama sharecropper's farm to a segregated schoolroom to the 1963 March on Washington to the halls of Congress -- for civil rights and justice.
Book Two by Lewis, co-author Andrew Aydin, and artist Nate Powell, is scheduled for release in January 2015.
Congressman Lewis and Aydin will speak and be available for signing after the event, set to be the congressman's only East Bay appearance.
