Berkeley Unified School District has closed all schools through Monday April 6.
City of Berkeley's Public Health Officer and City Manager have issued guidance to cancel or postpone all non-essential group events to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus in our community.
Likewise, the the Library has cancelled or postponed all community programs, classes, and events, including community use of meeting rooms, through March 31.
BUSD SPRING BREAK 2020 for middle school students
The Library is hosting a coding / marketing / leadership workshop Monday March 30 through Friday April 3 in the 3rd floor community meeting room. Space is limited.
Are you interested in coding? Do you aspire to be a leader in tech?
At this spring break workshop you will:
- Work in teams.
- Learn - from high school students how to build and market an app.
- Pitch your app to a friendly audience.

|4/3||10am - 1pm||9-12 & 6-8||High school student introduce their team of middle school student for a no-stakes pitch of their product.|
