Chinese Art Lecture @Central CMR

Join us in the 3rd floor Community Meeting Room for a talk on Chinese art, and the artwork of James Liu. This presentation will be presented primarily in Chinese.  

Our speakers will be:

  • Liang Mingming, who will compare the art of the west & the east, and present some of her art work. Liang Mingming graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor's degree in 1987. She is a member of Guangdong Province Artists Association, and a member of American Chinese Art Association. She has been dedicated to creating art and teaching art for 26 years.   • Wang Lun, the grandson of famous artist Zhenjin and a famous Chinese talk show speaker for many years. He will talk about the art of Zhenjin.
  • Diana Liu Benet, artist and daughter of James Liu, whose work is currently on display in the 5th floor Art & Music Department. She will talk about the art and life of her father. Diana graduated from Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, majoring in illustration and design. She has had a long and rewarding career as a product designer in gifts, toys, serve ware and home décor fields as well as an illustrator. You can see some of her artowork on her website
  • David Li, chairman of the Chinese culture art salon. David will talk about the unique contribution of James Liu as an American chinese artist.

Diana will speak in English, and the other presenters will speak in Chinese.
