Book Into Film: The Great Gatsby @Central CMR

January 28, 2018 - 1:30pm-4:00pm (ended)

3rd floor Community Meeting Room

Book Into Film is a library series meeting every other month, where you are invited to read the book on your own, watch the film with others at the library, and stay after the screening for a discussion of both book and film. This month's book/film combination is F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby.  We will be watching the 2013 film of the same name, starring Leonardo diCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire, directed by Baz Luhrmann.  Check out one of the library's copies of the book, available in print, audiobook or ebook.  Our next book/film will be Sunday, March 18: Fahrenheit 451, book by Ray Bradbury, film directed by Francois Truffaut.
