Book Into Film: Fahrenheit 451 @Central CMR

March 18, 2018 - 1:30pm-4:00pm (ended)

3rd floor Community Meeting Room

Book Into Film is a library series meeting every other month, where you are invited to read the book on your own, watch the film with others at the library, and stay after the screening for a discussion of both book and film. This month's book/film combination is Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451. We will be watching the 1963 film of the same name, starring Oskar Werner and Julie Christie, directed by Francois Truffaut, with cinematography by Nicholas Roeg. Check out one of the library's copies of the book, available in print, audiobook or ebook. Our next book/film will be Sunday, May 20: The Joy Luck Club, book by Amy Tan, film directed by Wayne Wang.
