Central Library

Community Outreach in the Library (COIL) is a Berkeley Public Library program that hosts various community organizations which provide information, referrals and resources to people experiencing homelessness. Some of these organizations may also provide services to people who are housed.

Berkeley Community Resource Center (BCRC)
Information and referral. BCRC provides shelter, meals, showers, laundry, and clothes 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Note: Beginning in November 2019, BCRC will visit the library on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month.
