Join us for UNMENSCH: AN ANIMATION WORKSHOP WITH PETER MILLARD
Hailing from the Malvern Hills, England, Peter Millard is unique in the world of contemporary animation. His films consist of sad men, driving ducks and even sadder bananas, and while his films appear childlike and simplistic there is a demented sophistication at work. Beneath the simplicity and apparent abandon there is a highly advanced use of editing whereby sound and structure are employed specifically to manipulate and shock the audience into laughter or despair. You can see his films on his website.
In this workshop attendees will have the opportunity to work with crayons on paper with “The Mad Man of Malvern,” resulting in a collaborative film.
Advance registration is required, as space is limited!
All spaces are currently filled, but we often have last-minute cancellations.
