Join us at the Berkeley Public Library’s Claremont Branch on Tuesday, December 6 at 7:00pm, when Angela Madonia leads us in yoga postures that support releasing tension while stretching, balancing and strengthening the body in a gentle and supportive way. Movement, breath exercises and mindfulness meditation techniques will be presented simply and accessibly. Leave with some tools for those moments when you want to calm your system and to reconnect. Berkeley, CA. November 7, 2016—Kids! Curious about coding? The Berkeley Public Library is hosting Kids Learn Coding at the Claremont Branch on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 3:45pm. Children 10-13 years-old are invited to explore the basics, and beyond, of coding in this hour-long free workshop! Simon Maude, a computer science student at UC Berkeley will use Udacity, a user-friendly online coding learning site that is fun and educational. Space is limited.
